Contenance

The terroir at Château la Rouvière in Castellet is planted with the oldest vines, enjoys a unique exposure and produced wines with excellent ageing potential that reveal the true character of the Mourvèdre varietal.
With its 18th century bastide, the Château faces south and overlooks the steep, terraced hillside with views that take the eye as far as the limestone ridges of the “Bec de l’aigle“. Family owned since 1969, the domaine’s vineyards are planted with 50 year old vines. Its steep terraces are just wide enough for three rows of vines which climb the sun-drenched hillside towards the Château.

Wine made from organically cultivated grapes, Manual harvests (in accordance with the regulations of the Bandol appellation)
