Bandol
copy of CHATEAU LA ROUVIERE ROSE 2019
These vineyards are planted with the oldest vines, enjoy a unique exposure and produce wines with excellent ageing potential that reveal the true character of the Mourvèdre varietal.
With its 18th century bastide, the Château faces south and overlooks the steep, terraced hillside with views that take the eye as far as the limestone ridges of the “Bec de l’aigle“. Family owned since 1969, the domaine’s vines are planted with 50 year old vines. Its steep terraces are just wide enough for three rows of vines which climb the sun-drenched hillside towards the
Château.
Wine made from organically cultivated grapes, Manual harvests (in accordance with the regulations of the Bandol appellation)
Techniques de cultureGrapes harvested from August to September. Fermentation in stainless steel vats. Blending in late January. |
